The Hebrew channel did not publish any details about the meeting, and Olmert declined to comment on it, as SadaNews translated.

It noted that Dahlan is a prominent Palestinian figure and was once a key player within the Palestinian leadership.

It seems that the meeting came in the context of Olmert's and other former Israeli leaders' visits to the UAE to meet with senior officials in the country.
