Presidency: Claims by the Minister of Settlement Regarding Gaza Are Invalid
SadaNews - In response to statements made by the Minister of Settlement in the Israeli occupying government "Orit Strok" who claimed that "Gaza is part of the land of the State of Israel according to international law and the UN partition resolution," the Palestinian presidency stated that "Strok's claims are unfounded and baseless."
The presidency pointed out that the partition resolution stipulates that the Palestinian state must be established on 45% of the historical territory of Palestine, which includes Gaza, the West Bank, and the western Galilee."
It added that all UN resolutions, Security Council resolutions, and international law all confirm the falsehood of Strok's statements, reaffirming that Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian land occupied in 1967, just like the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
