SadaNews - The Palestinian Land Authority announced a new significant achievement within the land settlement project, represented by the approval of 22 settlement basins by the settlement judge, with a total area of 12,611 dunams. This resulted in the issuance of 2,520 registration deeds after completing the approved legal procedures.

The Land Authority clarified that the approved settlement basins included eight governorates, reflecting the continuous progress in implementing the project at the national level, as well as the development of the adopted work mechanisms and enhancing the efficiency of technical and legal performance in the various stages of settlement.

The head of the Land Authority, Minister Alaa Al-Tamimi, stated that the Land Authority is working to develop the management of the settlement project through updating procedures, enhancing reliance on digital systems, and building the capacities of technical and legal staff, which ensures speeding up achievements and raising the levels of accuracy and transparency, in line with government directions for reform and institutional development.

He emphasized that land settlement represents a fundamental pillar in protecting Palestinian land and enabling citizens to manage their properties in a legal and secure manner, asserting that this project serves as a sovereign and legal tool in facing the imposed challenges on land and ownership.

The Land Authority called on citizens to follow the official announcements issued by it and to approach the settlement offices in the included governorates to complete the registration procedures, ensuring the preservation of rights and organizing ownership according to the approved legal principles.
