NATO Secretary General: Europe Cannot Defend Itself Without the United States
SadaNews - On Monday, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Europe cannot defend itself without the United States, amidst calls within the continent for self-reliance following tensions over Greenland, according to the Agence France-Presse.
Rutte told European Parliament members: "If anyone here still believes that the European Union, or Europe in general, can defend itself without the United States, they are dreaming... You cannot do that."
