Israeli Army Announces Recovery of the Last Captive's Body from Gaza
SadaNews - The Israeli army announced today, Monday, January 26, 2026, that it has found the remains of the last Israeli captive from the Gaza Strip (Ran Givli).
The army clarified in a statement that the Institute of Forensic Medicine was able to identify the body, which was confirmed to belong to the Israeli captive Givli.
In the same context, the Israeli army radio reported, citing an informed Israeli source, that the army forces had exhumed more than 200 graves in various areas of the Gaza Strip as part of the intensive search operations conducted to find the remains of the Israeli captive Ran Givli.
