Settlers Storm the Tarseleh Evacuated Site South of Jenin
SadaNews - Settlers stormed the Tarseleh evacuated site today, Thursday, south of Jenin Governorate, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources reported that the occupation closed the Jenin - Nablus road near the towns of Ajja and Jaba, in preparation for the settlers' incursion into the site.
The sources added that settlers' buses, accompanied by mobile homes, invaded the Tarseleh evacuated site, known as the "Sanour" settlement, near the town of Jaba south of Jenin, which was evacuated in 2005.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities approved in May of last year the establishment of 22 new settlements in the West Bank, including the re-establishment of the "Homesh" and "Tarseleh - Sanour" settlements in Jenin Governorate.
