Government Media in Gaza Confirms Its Readiness to Transfer Management Authority of the Sector to the Technocrat Committee
SadaNews - The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed today, Monday, its full readiness to transfer the management authority of the sector to the Palestinian National Committee, and its complete preparedness for the handover procedures.
In a statement, it said, "In light of the ongoing political and administrative developments, and with the announcement of the transition to the second stage, we express our welcome to the Palestinian National Committee for managing the Gaza Strip, considering it a step in the context of addressing the administrative and service reality in the sector, in line with the priority of completely halting the ongoing aggression against our Palestinian people, ensuring the protection of civilians, and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of our people."
The media office in Gaza stated, "We affirm our complete readiness to transfer the relevant authorities, and our total preparedness for the handover procedures, ensuring a smooth and organized transition in institutional work, preserving the rights of citizens and employees in the public sector, and ensuring continuity of services without interruption."
It confirmed that "governmental and service work will continue regularly, and that institutions and relevant departments continue to perform their tasks in providing essential services to our Palestinian people under the current exceptional circumstances, taking into account the available capabilities and the existing challenges. We also confirm that employees in various sectors are fully ready to cooperate with the Palestinian National Committee for managing the Gaza Strip, in a way that serves the public interest, contributes to improving the level of services provided to citizens, and enhances administrative and institutional stability."
It continued, "We affirm the inherent right of our Palestinian people to reconstruction, and the necessity for this process to occur in a manner that preserves national rights and Palestinian sovereignty, enabling our people to restore the pillars of a dignified life. We reiterate the right of our Palestinian people to self-determination, leading to the establishment of their independent state with full sovereignty, with Jerusalem as its capital."
The Government Media Office emphasized the unity of Palestinian land and the geopolitical unity between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, adding, "We affirm our rejection of any arrangements that would solidify division or undermine the Palestinian national will, while also stressing that enhancing national unity, achieving internal cohesion, and responsibly dealing with various challenges are a top national priority at this stage."
