The Kremlin's statement said: "Putin emphasized the importance of intensifying diplomatic and political efforts to address current challenges, calling for the activation of political-diplomatic steps to alleviate tensions and enhance stability in the region."
It added: "Putin presented approaches to Netanyahu to enhance stability in the Middle East. They discussed activating diplomatic steps for regional stability."
The Kremlin's statement continued: "Putin confirmed Russia's readiness for mediation and clarified to Netanyahu the approaches to ensure security in the Middle East."
Putin and Netanyahu also agreed to continue dialogue regarding regional stability, affirming the commitment of both the Russian and Israeli sides to continue communications at various levels.
