US Official Warns Iran: Trump is a "Man of Action"
SadaNews - Michael Waltz, the US Ambassador to the United Nations, said late Thursday to Friday at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council called by the United States, that "the people of Iran are demanding their freedom in a way unprecedented in the brutal history of the Islamic Republic."
He stated that the American message is clear: "President Donald J. Trump and the United States stand with the brave people of Iran," according to the Associated Press.
Waltz continued: "President Trump is a man of action, and not a man of endless talks as we see at the United Nations. He has made it clear that all options are on the table to stop the massacre, and no one knows that better than the leadership of the Iranian regime."
Waltz rejected Iranian claims that the protests are a "foreign conspiracy" and a precursor to military action, saying: "Everyone in the world needs to know that the regime is weaker than ever, and thus is promoting this lie because of the strength of the Iranian people in the streets."
He added: "They are afraid. They are afraid of their people."
