Sufyan Abu Harb Appointed Acting Head of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics
SadaNews - Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, the Prime Minister, issued a decision today appointing Sufyan Abu Harb as the Acting Head of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.
Following this appointment, Abu Harb expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the trust placed in him by the Palestinian leadership, represented by President Mahmoud Abbas and Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, the Prime Minister, in appointing him as the Acting Head of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, affirming his commitment to maintaining the independence and professionalism of the Palestinian statistical system and its continuity.
It is noteworthy that Abu Harb holds a Master's degree in Management from Birzeit University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from York University in Canada. He has held many significant leadership positions within the statistical institution since his appointment there in 1995.
Abu Harb's appointment comes after Dr. Ola Awad was appointed as the UN Women representative in Palestine.
