Iran's Foreign Minister: Mossad agents are deployed in Tehran to monitor the protests
SadaNews - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that his country possesses evidence and documents proving the intervention of foreign entities in the recent protests witnessed in the country, pointing out that elements of the Israeli Mossad who speak Persian are deployed in the capital Tehran to monitor the demonstrations, according to reports from Israeli newspapers.
The minister explained that authorities will soon publish confessions from arrested individuals, as well as documents and photographs proving the involvement of external parties in fueling the events. He noted that the protests, which began in early January, have turned into what he described as "a terrorist war in the streets", with the country witnessing attacks targeting innocent citizens since the eighth of the same month.
He indicated that security agencies have audio recordings containing directives to open fire on civilians and security personnel in order to increase the number of casualties, emphasizing that some protesters used firearms against security forces and citizens. He added that the protests have entered a new phase since January 2, with weapons and elements he described as "terrorist" entering the country.
The minister also revealed that individuals involved in the events set fire to 53 mosques and threatened to burn commercial shops, in addition to targeting more than ten ambulances and buses. He confirmed that authorities possess photographs proving the distribution of weapons among protesters during the protests.
In a related context, he announced that the internet will soon be restored in coordination with security agencies, noting that the government has information about the countries where protests are being planned inside Iran with American and Israeli support.
