Video: Strong Explosions Rock Caracas After Trump's Threat of Strikes
SadaNews - The "French Press Agency" reported today, Saturday, that loud explosions were heard, accompanied by sounds resembling the flying of planes, in the Venezuelan capital Caracas around 2 AM (06:00 GMT).
These explosions come at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump, who deployed naval forces in the Caribbean, hinted at the possibility of launching ground strikes on Venezuela, according to the agency.
Venezuelan media indicated that warplanes were flying over the capital simultaneously with the explosions.
Media reported hearing at least seven explosions in the capital Caracas, causing power outages in several areas.
