Nablus: Protest to Demand Government Payment of Salaries and Dues for Private and Non-Profit Hospitals
SadaNews: The Palestinian Nursing Syndicate organized a protest today in front of the An-Najah Hospital in Nablus, attended by dozens of nurses and health sector workers. This event was held to urge the Palestinian government to expedite the payment of accrued salaries and financial dues for private and non-profit hospitals, which are suffering from increasing financial pressures.
Participants raised banners asserting their right to receive their dues, while emphasizing their commitment to continue providing health services to patients despite the difficult circumstances, in order to preserve citizens' lives and ensure the continuity of operations within hospitals.
This protest is part of a series of peaceful protest steps aimed at amplifying the voices of health sector workers to official entities, amid calls for the government to take responsibility towards health institutions that are a fundamental pillar of the Palestinian medical system.
