Police: Arrest of a Person in Possession of $27,000 in Counterfeit Money in Ramallah
SadaNews: The Palestinian police arrested a person in possession of money suspected to be counterfeit in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
After receiving information from the Tourism and Antiquities Police branch in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Service, regarding the presence of a person inside one of the hotels with counterfeit money, a search warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecution. Upon searching his room, an amount of $27,000 suspected to be counterfeit was found in his possession, along with substances suspected to be narcotic, and he was arrested.
The suspect and the seized items have been retained for referral to the Public Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures against him.
