Serious Injury and Arrests in Various Areas of the West Bank

SadaNews - A young man was injured by live fire early Saturday, and others were arrested in a raid campaign across various areas of the West Bank.

According to medical sources, the young man was shot by an Israeli force that raided the town of Qarawat Bani Zeid, northwest of Ramallah, indicating that his condition is serious after being directly hit in the head.

In the town of Al-Zawiya, west of Salfit, the occupation forces launched a campaign of home raids, which included the destruction of contents and doors, and the smashing of the glass of one vehicle.

These forces arrested young Mohammed Shuqair, the son of the mayor of Al-Zawiya, after storming his family's home, while they assaulted citizen Iyad Abdul Halim, who was transferred to the Specialty Center in Al-Zawiya for treatment.

Other forces stormed the town of Karmeil east of Yatta and arrested released prisoner Montaser Abu Aram after raiding and searching his house.

The town of Tarqumia in Hebron witnessed Israeli incursions and the firing of live ammunition, while the city of Jericho was invaded early in the morning, with no reports of arrests.
