Martyr Shot by Settler in Tekoa South-East of Bethlehem
SadaNews: Today, Tuesday, young Mahib Ahmad Jibril (19 years old) was martyred by a settler's gunfire in the town of Tekoa, southeast of Bethlehem.
The head of the Tekoa municipality, Muhammad Al-Badn, reported that the crime of martyrdom occurred after the funeral of the martyr child Ammar Sabih (16 years old) was completed. The mourners dispersed, and a number of young men remained in the northern entrance of the town, before one of the settlers dismounted from his vehicle and opened fire directly at them, leading to the martyrdom of Jibril and the serious injury of another young man.
Al-Badn pointed out that martyr Jibril is the second in less than 24 hours in the town of Tekoa, amidst escalating attacks by the occupation and its settlers against the citizens, calling on the international community to intervene urgently to provide protection for the Palestinian people and to put an end to the ongoing killings of civilians.
