Smotrich: The War Will Not End Unless Hamas's Weapons Are Completely Disarmed
SadaNews - Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that it is hard to imagine that the Hamas movement will voluntarily relinquish its weapons or through a multinational force, noting that if U.S. President Donald Trump manages to recover the captives in his own way, and even achieve the dismantling of the movement, it would be a welcome achievement.
Smotrich added that the Israeli army is prepared to take full control of the Gaza Strip if these scenarios do not come true, especially since there are no longer any living captives restricting military operations.
He emphasized that the war will not conclude until Hamas is fully disarmed, stressing that this matter is non-negotiable.
