Sources to "SadaNews": The Resistance Delivered a Body That Was Buried Under a Former Israeli Military Site

Exclusive to SadaNews - Field sources from Palestinian resistance factions revealed this Tuesday evening that the body handed over by Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, was buried beneath a former Israeli military site from which occupation forces withdrew as part of the ceasefire agreement implemented on October 10, 2025.

According to sources speaking to "SadaNews", the body was found west of the Gaza Valley in the central Gaza Strip, specifically north of Nuseirat Camp.

The sources indicated that the body handed over this evening to the Red Cross, which in turn transferred it to the Israeli occupation, had been buried at that location while the occupation army was present in the area, having established a temporary military site there for an extended period.

The sources noted that the search for the body took two weeks due to extensive excavation and destruction caused by the occupation army in the area. Despite this, they were unable to reach the body at that time, and it remained in place until the resistance successfully extracted it yesterday, Monday.

The sources stated that the occupation army continued to operate in the same area and intensified its military presence even before the last night of the ceasefire declaration.

Prior to the war, Al-Quds Brigades used the area as a military training site, which was later bombed by Israeli warplanes, followed by ground forces taking control over it for extended periods during the conflict.

In the Gaza Strip, two bodies of Israeli prisoners remain, one with the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and the other with Al-Quds Brigades.

According to the same sources, the search for the two bodies will be very complicated, especially since the exact location of both bodies is unknown, and extensive areas must be searched due to the significant excavation operations carried out by occupation forces in areas where the bodies are located.

Israel claims that Hamas possesses precise information about the whereabouts of the remaining two bodies.

According to Channel 13, as translated by SadaNews, Israel has had doubts since the beginning about its ability to find the three bodies, and it remains uncertain about the announcement of the Islamic Jihad until tests conducted at Abu Kabir Institute confirm whether the body handed over this evening belongs to any of those prisoners.
