Injuries and Arrests in Assaults by Occupation Forces and Settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus from several axes on Wednesday evening and arrested a young man after besieging a house.

Local sources reported that special Israeli forces infiltrated Abu Ubaida Street in the city, besieging a house, after which Israeli vehicles stormed the city from several military checkpoints, including Huwwara to the south and Sarta to the west. They also spread in several neighborhoods of the city before arresting the young man, Obada Al-Amoudi.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces arrested three citizens from the Arab Al-Arar'rah in the Al-Hathroura Bedouin community east of Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces unexpectedly invaded the community, raiding several tents and arresting three citizens: Ali Abdul Al-Arar'rah, Haider Muhammad Mousa Al-Arar'rah, and Ibrahim Mousa Al-Arar'rah, before transferring them to an unknown destination.

This invasion comes just hours after settlers attacked residents of the Khillat Al-Sudrah Bedouin community near Mikhmas northeast of Jerusalem, as part of a systematic escalation targeting the Palestinian presence in the Bedouin communities surrounding the city.

These communities have faced years of ongoing pressure, including repeated invasions, demolition orders, and construction prohibitions, in attempts to pressure residents to abandon their lands for colonial expansion.

Meanwhile, several citizens and peace activists were injured during an attack carried out by settlers on the Khillat Al-Sudrah Bedouin community near the town of Mikhmas northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

This also resulted in damages affecting several houses and vehicles.

Local sources reported that settlers directly attacked residents within the community and fired toxic pepper spray, leading to several citizens and peace activists suffering from suffocation. The assault also affected several houses and vehicles, damaging them before Israeli occupation forces stormed the area and spread among the citizens' homes.

This assault comes amid escalating aggression targeting villages and Bedouin communities around Jerusalem, which have been subjected for months to a series of invasions and organized assaults by settlers and occupation soldiers, as part of plans aimed at tightening pressure on the residents and forcing them to leave their lands.

Khillat Al-Sudrah is part of a series of Bedouin communities located around Mikhmas, Al-Ayzariya, and Az-Za'aim, and it is one of the areas subjected to repeated assaults, including in recent weeks invading citizens' homes, vandalizing property, stealing livestock, and closing roads that connect the communities with each other, in an attempt to isolate them from their surroundings.
