SadaNews - President Donald Trump welcomed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman with extraordinary ceremonies at the White House on Tuesday.

Unlike the receptions typically held at the North Gate of the White House, Trump awaited his guest at the South Gate, surrounded by his administration and an honor guard on horseback, raising both the American and Saudi flags, while warplanes flew overhead to welcome Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Extraordinary reception ceremonies were held for Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in the South Lawn upon his arrival at the White House, followed by an official reception at the South Portico, where American fighter jets performed a flyover.

The American president hosted his Saudi guest in the Oval Office for a bilateral meeting, followed by the signing of agreements and a lunch in the meeting room.

The Saudi Crown Prince arrived in the United States early Tuesday for an official working visit upon the directive of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and in response to an invitation from President Trump.

This working visit by the Saudi Crown Prince to the United States today carries special significance for the relations between the two countries and regional issues. It was preceded by President Trump's announcement yesterday of his approval to supply the most advanced "F-35" fighters, despite Israeli objections.

The Saudi Royal Court stated in a statement that Prince Mohammed Bin Salman will discuss with President Trump, during the visit, bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various fields, as well as issues of mutual interest.

For its part, the Saudi Cabinet, during its session chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Riyadh on Tuesday, confirmed that the visit of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to the United States comes within the framework of enhancing bilateral relations and the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries in various fields, alongside the pursuit of achieving their shared vision for a Middle East characterized by security and stability.
