Finnish President: Sooner or later, Europe will have to negotiate directly with Russia
SadaNews - Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that Europe will have to negotiate directly with Russia sooner or later.
This came in an interview Stubb gave to Politico in response to a question about whether Europe should try to engage directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Stubb stated: "When the time comes for direct negotiations - and it will come sooner or later - it is essential that this be coordinated."
In October, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban described the European Union's reluctance to negotiate with Russia as a catastrophic mistake, as others will then decide Europe's future.
