Instead of Issuing Orders.. Netanyahu, Katz, and Sa'ar Call on Israeli Security to Pursue Settlers!

Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar have condemned the attacks by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank.

This comes amid a rise in settler attacks, the latest of which occurred today in Bethlehem and Hebron, causing fires to citizens' properties.

Netanyahu stated, as translated by SadaNews, that attempts to take the law into their own hands by an extremist group do not represent the settlers in the West Bank, calling on law enforcement authorities to impose the maximum penalties against rioters. He also described them as such.

He said: "I intend to personally address this issue and hold a meeting with the relevant ministers as soon as possible to respond to this serious phenomenon."

He continued: "I support the Israeli army and security forces that will continue to work decisively and without fear to maintain order."

Katz announced his support for the Israeli army in the West Bank and for security forces operating in the area following recent events, confirming that the Israeli government will continue to develop and increase settlement across the West Bank, in cooperation with settler leadership, while maintaining law, the security of the population, and stability in the region.

Katz added: "We will not tolerate the attempts of a few violent lawless criminals to take the law into their own hands and tarnish the image of the settler public, and we will not allow them to harm our soldiers, disrupt order, or divert forces from their missions of protecting Israeli citizens and thwarting Palestinian terrorism." According to his statement.

He continued: "There will be no tolerance for anyone who acts violently... Security forces will continue to operate in the field, and we will continue to fully support them."

He added: "In the coming weeks, a historic decision will be presented to the government that grants tools and a budget to the special commissioner appointed for this issue, to carry out a comprehensive and systematic approach, and I am confident that this will lead to significant change on the ground."

Sa'ar also condemned the same attacks, calling for Israeli security forces to work on arresting the "rioters," considering that their attacks harm Israel's security.
