Injuries and Arson of House and Two Vehicles in Settler Attack on Sa'ir Town
SadaNews - A number of citizens were injured, and a house and two vehicles were burned this evening, Monday, in an attack carried out by settlers, protected by occupation forces, on the town of Sa'ir northeast of Hebron.
Citizen Issa Shalaldeh told the official agency that a group of settlers attacked his family’s homes in the "Wadi Sa'ir" area, burning the house of his son Naseem and two family vehicles.
He added that the settlers assaulted the locals with batons and sharp tools, which resulted in injuries to several women, as well as causing significant damage to property.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that the occupation forces prevented ambulances and firefighting vehicles from reaching the "Wadi Sa'ir" area.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation forces and settlers carried out a total of 2350 assaults during the month of October, where the occupation army conducted 1584 assaults while the settlers carried out 766 assaults, concentrated mainly in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 542 assaults, Nablus with 412 assaults, and Hebron with 401 assaults. These assaults varied between direct physical assault, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing olive pickers from accessing their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural facilities.
