UN: Israel has killed 45 children since the beginning of the year in the West Bank
SadaNews - The United Nations stated on Friday that settlers are igniting fires in the West Bank, which is a new pattern of violence against Palestinians.
The UN emphasized in a statement the necessity for Israeli forces to avoid using live ammunition in the West Bank as long as there is no threat to their lives.
It noted that between November 4 and 10, Israeli forces killed 4 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 3 children, and injured 30 Palestinians during the same period, including 4 children.
The total number of Palestinian children killed by Israeli forces since January 2025 has risen to 45.
It was mentioned that more than 1,500 Palestinians have been displaced in the West Bank due to demolition operations under the pretext of lacking permits since the beginning of 2025.
Recent satellite images showed the destruction or damage of approximately 1,460 buildings in the Jenin, Noor Shams, and Tulkarem camps.
The report pointed to the displacement of a Palestinian family of 6 in the village of Khirbat Abu Falah in Ramallah after their home was recently set on fire by settlers.
It called for an investigation and accountability for all actions taken by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank.
