President Abbas Issues Presidential Decree Amending Government Formation and Appointing New Head of the General Authority for Crossings
SadaNews - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued a presidential decree this evening, Thursday, amending the formation of the nineteenth Palestinian government.
The amendment includes the appointment of Mohammed Farouk Zaki Al-Ahmad as Minister of Transportation and Communications, along with a legal decision granting him confidence as a minister in the nineteenth government.
He will take the legal oath before President Abbas in the presence of Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa at a later time.
President Abbas also issued a presidential decision appointing Amin Mahmoud Ahmed Qandeel as the head of the General Authority for Crossings and Borders.
