The Occupation Claims to Have Thwarted a Hamas Cell in Bethlehem
SadaNews - The occupation army and the Shin Bet announced today, Thursday, that they have thwarted a Hamas infrastructure in Bethlehem that was planning to carry out shooting attacks in the near future.
In a statement, the Israeli occupation army and the internal security agency (Shin Bet) claimed to have thwarted a series of security operations in the city of Bethlehem, resulting in the arrest of about 40 Palestinians, on the grounds of their affiliation with a "terrorist infrastructure" belonging to Hamas.
According to the occupation's statement, the detainees were arrested during 15 separate operations carried out by forces from the Etzion reserve brigade, the Duvdevan special unit, and the Lotar unit, claiming that the group was planning to carry out shooting operations in the near future.
