Katz Issues Decision to Close "Israel Defense Forces Radio"
SadaNews: Israeli occupation Minister of Defense Yoav Katz has decided to close the Israeli army radio station "Gali Tzahal".
Katz stated that the closure of the Israeli army radio station will take place by March 1, 2026, at which point all broadcasts will cease.
Katz attributed the reason for this decision to: "This is a necessary step to maintain the official nature of the Israeli army and enhance public trust in it".
The proposal is set to be presented for approval by the occupying government, as translated by SadaNews.
