Injuries and Arrests in Attacks by the Occupation and Settlers in the West Bank
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces arrested an anti-settlement activist this evening, Tuesday, in Masafer Yatta. A number of settlers stormed the village of Um al-Khair east of Yatta, grazing their livestock on citizens' lands.
The media activist Osama Makhamra stated that several settlers invaded the village and released their livestock onto citizens' lands, causing damage to citizens' crops. He confirmed that the occupation forces, which provide protection for the settlers, arrested anti-settlement activist Tarek al-Hadhalin.
The village is subjected to continuous incursions by settlers who are attempting to take control of the village and its caves, destroy crops, and seize more land for the benefit of settlement.
Meanwhile, a citizen was injured with bruises after being detained by Israeli occupation forces at the entrance of the Al-Fawwar camp south of the city, who physically assaulted her.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces stationed at the entrance of the Al-Fawwar camp detained the girl Aya Said Muhammad Jaber from Hebron, interrogated her on the ground, and assaulted her, leading to her suffering from bruises and contusions. They added that the occupation forces released the girl, and she was transferred to the Dura governmental hospital.
Another unit of the forces arrested a boy from the town of Teqoa southeast of Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed Teqoa, stationed in the middle of it, fired tear gas and sound bombs, and arrested the boy Ali Mahmoud Nawwara.
