Confirming What SadaNews Published.. "Finance Ministry": Salaries Tomorrow at No Less Than 60%
SadaNews: The Ministry of Finance announced that the date for the payment of public sector employees’ salaries for the month of August 8/2025 will be tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at a rate of 60% of the salary, with a minimum of 2000 shekels.
The ministry confirmed that the remaining dues up to this date are owed to the employees and will be paid when the financial capabilities allow it.
Sources confirmed to "SadaNews" yesterday that the Ministry of Finance will pay public sector employees’ salaries next Wednesday at a rate of 60%, with a minimum of 2000 shekels.
The sources clarified to "SadaNews" that the Ministry of Finance managed to secure this percentage of salaries relying on a grant from the World Bank, in addition to advances on local taxes (income, value-added tax for the year 2026) from some banks operating in Palestine, along with some internal funding sources.
According to the same sources, the Palestinian government is suffering from a huge and unprecedented financial crisis, resorting to very difficult methods to secure salaries.
They also pointed out that the government cannot continue on this path if the Israeli side insists on withholding Palestinian tax revenues and if external support does not resume in the required manner, which enables the government to meet its obligations, including salaries.
