Netanyahu Promises to Disarm Gaza and Continue Attacks Against "Israel's Enemies"
SadaNews Translation - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged on Monday evening to work on disarming Gaza and Hamas, whether by easy or difficult means, as he stated.
Netanyahu added in a speech before the Israeli Knesset: "Our enemies are re-arming themselves and have not abandoned their intent to exterminate us. In Gaza, Hamas will be disarmed... Gaza will be stripped of weapons, and this will happen by either the hard way or the easy way."
He continued, as translated by SadaNews: "Israel is stronger than ever and more countries in our region are approaching it than ever before."
He confirmed Israel's determination to recover the remains of those in the Gaza Strip, stating: "We are working tirelessly to bring them all back."
He said: "We will enforce the ceasefire with an iron fist," considering that military and political pressure on Hamas has returned most of the captives alive and dead.
He added: "Those who attack us, we will attack back and we are indeed inflicting heavy costs on our enemies... Our ability to confront those who attack us has changed, and the battle to defend Israel continues."
He expressed his rejection of the formation of a national investigation committee regarding the October 7 attack, emphasizing the need for a committee that represents all the Israeli people.
He also addressed the normalization agreements, asserting that more countries would join soon.
He touched on the video of the torture of Palestinian prisoners at Sedeh Teiman, describing it as fabricated and that it caused significant harm to Israel.
