Hebrew Channel: Israel Monitors Intensive Activity of Hezbollah and Expects Retaliation and Fighting for Days

According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, Israel does not allow Hezbollah to establish itself in the Shiite villages near the border and attacks it wherever it is.

It quoted Israeli sources as saying that the attacks in Lebanon aim to enable Israel to achieve the ambitious goal of dismantling Hezbollah's weapons.

It pointed out that the Israeli army is also preparing for the possibility of Hezbollah's retaliation, including the potential for fighting for several days, amid assurances that the party and Lebanon will pay a heavy price, and that there are no longer any equations.

Israeli sources confirm that the attacks in Lebanon are being coordinated with the Americans, who have been permanently stationed at the Northern Command base since the ceasefire, and they also understand that Hezbollah must be dismantled from its weapons according to the decision of the Lebanese government.

Israel views the activity of the Lebanese army as slower than expected due to internal Lebanese challenges and the fact that there are battalions in the Lebanese army comprising Shiites, noting that there are areas the army does not enter, and if the Lebanese army does not accelerate its pace and work to dismantle Hezbollah's weapons, Israel will do so.
