Hebron: Injuries from Suffocation during a Sit-in Against Settler Attacks
SadaNews - Today, Monday, Israeli occupation forces fired sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens during a sit-in organized by the residents of the towns of Idna and Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron, to protect their lands from the attacks of the occupation and its settlers, which resulted in several citizens suffering from suffocation.
Journalistic sources reported that the occupation forces raided the Al-Jalatiyah neighborhood and Deir Qati in the lands of Tarqumiyah, east of Idna, during a sit-in organized by the residents of the two towns and their institutions to protect their lands from the settler attacks who are attempting to steal and seize them. The forces launched sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens, causing dozens to suffer from suffocation due to inhaling the gas.
A young man was also injured with a fracture in his hand after being directly hit by a sound bomb fired by the occupation soldiers at him, and he was transported by Red Crescent crews to the hospital for treatment.
