Injuries in Attacks by Occupation and Settlers in the West Bank

SadaNews - Three citizens were injured by settler gunfire today, Saturday, during their attack on the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that a group of armed settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked citizens in the vicinity of the village, directly firing at them, which resulted in three of them being shot with live bullets in their lower limbs, who were subsequently transported to the hospital.

They added that the settlers proceeded to graze their livestock among the olive trees, in a provocative step aimed at displacing the residents and seizing their lands adjacent to the settlements established in the area.

It was noted that the occupation forces were present at the scene and provided protection to the settlers, which heightened the atmosphere of tension and fear among the residents.

The village of Al-Minya has been subjected to repeated attacks by settlers, including land invasions, tree cutting, and preventing farmers from accessing their lands.

Settlers also assaulted farmers and shepherds in the village of Al-Fakheit in the Massafer Yatta area south of Hebron, while occupation soldiers arrested a young man.

Local sources stated that armed settlers from the "Ma'on" and "Mitzpe Yair" settlements, built on the lands and properties of citizens in the Massafer area, attacked shepherds and farmers in the village of Al-Fakheit and assaulted them.

It was added that the occupation soldiers who provided protection to the settlers arrested the young man Yasser Abu Subha after he confronted the settlers.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested a citizen and seized a vehicle in Hebron city.

Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed the Jabal Al-Rahma neighborhood in Hebron city and arrested the citizen Wadi Al-Dweik after searching his house and brutally assaulting him and his sons Saeed and Abdul Hadi, adding that the occupation confiscated a vehicle belonging to Muneed Al-Dweik, the brother of the detainee.

It was noted that the occupation set up several military checkpoints at the entrances of Hebron and its towns and villages, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth berms.

Other forces set up a military checkpoint in the middle of the town of Turmus'ayya, north of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that occupation forces stopped several vehicles and checked the IDs of their passengers, causing a traffic crisis, pointing out that occupation soldiers spread across the streets and alleys of the town, but no raids or arrests were reported.
