The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 68,527 martyrs

SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 68,527 martyrs and 170,395 injured.

It explained in a statistical report that the hospitals in the strip received 8 martyrs who were recovered from beneath the rubble and 13 new injuries during the past 48 hours.

It added that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the extensive destruction and the dangerous field conditions.

It indicated that since the announcement of a ceasefire on October 11, the number of martyrs has reached 93 and the injuries 337, while 472 bodies have been recovered.

It also confirmed that so far, 72 bodies out of a total of 195 have been identified among the bodies released by the occupation and handed over to the Palestinian side.
