Occupation Army Accuses UNIFIL Forces of Downing Drone in South Lebanon
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army stated that the "UNIFIL" force downed an Israeli drone yesterday, Sunday, during a routine monitoring mission in Kfar Kela.
It added in a statement by its spokesperson, Avichai Adraee, today, Monday, that the drone did not pose a threat to the "UNIFIL" monitors, who opened fire and shot it down.
The occupation army continued that after the drone was downed, it flew another aircraft and dropped a hand grenade on the area where the drone was downed.
It added that the incident is under investigation through the military communication channel, amidst recurring tensions this month between the Israeli army and the "UNIFIL" forces.
