Foreign Ministry and Expatriates Condemn Smotrich's Statements Against Saudi Arabia
SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the hostile, racist, and offensive statements made by the extremist Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry stated in a statement that this is an extension of the hate speech and incitement adopted by the current Israeli government towards Arab and Islamic countries, at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is leading international efforts to promote stability, security, and peace through the realization of an independent Palestinian state and addressing Israel's attempts to exterminate and displace the Palestinian people.
These efforts continue the Kingdom's noble and steadfast positions regarding the Palestinian cause.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized that the comments made by the Israeli minister are an attempt to offend not only the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but the entire Arab and Islamic nation, and the world. They reflect the extremism led by the current Israeli government, which disregards international law and transcends all humanitarian and diplomatic standards, continuing to commit the most heinous crimes against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to condemn these hostile statements, which aim to escalate tensions in the region through hateful and racist rhetoric, and also urged support for sincere Arab efforts, led primarily by Saudi Arabia, aimed at ending the Israeli occupation and achieving a just and lasting peace.
