Airstrikes on Lebanon.. Occupation Claims Targeting a Site for Weapons Production
SadaNews - Israeli army planes targeted several sites in Lebanon, which the Israeli army claimed included a camp and a site for manufacturing precision weapons for Hezbollah.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted the vicinity of the towns of Shmestar and Janta in the Bekaa and the area of the Hermel outskirts in eastern Lebanon.
The Israeli occupation army announced it carried out an attack on a "camp and site for manufacturing guided and precise missiles for Hezbollah" in the Bekaa region and northern Lebanon, stating that Hezbollah was using "the camp for training and planning operations against Israel and its army."
The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army considered that "the storage of weapons, the presence of this infrastructure, in addition to Hezbollah members conducting military training, poses a threat and represents a blatant violation of agreements between Israel and Lebanon," stressing that efforts will continue "to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel."
