Ben Gvir Storms Prisons and Threatens to Execute Palestinian Prisoners (Video)
SadaNews: In a dangerous escalation reflecting the most savage face of Israeli occupation, the extremist Minister Itamar Ben Gvir continues his public incitement for the killing and torture of Palestinian prisoners, utilizing social media platforms and media outlets that serve the agenda of extermination. This incitement coincides with legislative movements within the Knesset aimed at enacting laws that legitimize the mass execution of prisoners and establish exceptional courts that lack the minimum guarantees of justice, in a step that warns of a serious shift towards legalizing crimes against Palestinian detainees, especially those from the Gaza Strip.
Prisoner Club: "Ben Gvir" Continues the Extermination War Inside Prisons
In this context, the Palestinian Prisoner Club confirmed that the Israeli fascist minister Itamar Ben Gvir continues his open incitement for the continuation of the systematic extermination policy inside Israeli prisons, through his repeated calls to kill and torture Palestinian prisoners, which he promotes via social media platforms, aided by a media machine that forms one of the main arms of the Israeli savage system.
The Prisoner Club clarified that these inciting calls coincide with dangerous legislative actions within the Knesset, aimed at enacting a law to execute Palestinian prisoners and creating an exceptional court devoid of any judicial guarantees to try prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that these legal paths, which began with preliminary approvals, represent a dangerous shift towards legalizing crimes against prisoners and turning killing and execution into practices based on legal cover.
The club indicated that testimonies provided by Palestinian prisoners who have been released after completing their sentences or in the recent exchange deal reveal an unprecedented level of savagery and crimes committed against them during their arrests or while in detention, especially since the onset of the extermination war. It stressed that what the prisoners recounted and what the bodies of the martyrs recently delivered showed, regarding the atrocities and systematic field executions against Gaza detainees, necessitates an urgent and independent international investigation into these crimes, based on the available evidence and testimonies.
The Prisoner Club noted that the extermination policy continues inside the prisons, and that the far-right parties in the occupying state exploit the issue of prisoners as a tool for incitement and electoral propaganda, as right-wing leaders compete in every election season to showcase more cruelty and barbarism against Palestinian prisoners. The club affirmed that this approach is not an incidental behavior but a rooted policy in the structure of the occupation system and its practices for decades.
The Prisoner Club, along with specialized institutions, renewed its assertion that what is happening in Israeli prisons constitutes an extension of the genocide war, and that the announced figures about the martyrs among the prisoners reflect only a small part of the scale of crimes and violations, including physical and psychological torture, starvation, deprivation of medical care, humiliation, and sexual assaults, including rape.
The Prisoner Club called on the international community to form an independent comprehensive international investigation committee into the crimes committed against Palestinian prisoners, including premeditated killings and field executions, which fall within the framework of genocide crimes. It also demanded that the International Committee of the Red Cross resume its visits to the prisons immediately and pressure the occupation authorities to allow the families of prisoners to visit their children without restrictions.
The club concluded its statement by referring to the fact that, despite the execution of the recent exchange deal, more than 9,100 Palestinian prisoners remain detained in the occupation's prisons, in addition to hundreds held in camps operated by the Israeli occupation army.
Hamas: Ben Gvir's Threat to Execute Prisoners is Fascist Behavior
For its part, Hamas stated that Ben Gvir's display of systematic abuse against Palestinian detainees and his threat to execute them embody the fascist behavior of the occupation.
It continued: "We call on the international community to expose the Nazi occupation and reveal its crimes to public opinion and bring its leaders to fair international trials."
It added: We urge the international community to stop the occupation's violations against our prisoners, release them, and prevent criminals from escaping punishment.
