Hamas Calls on Mediators to Complete Their Tasks and Start the Community Support Committee Work
SadaNews - Hamas called on Friday for all parties to continue their efforts with the Palestinian people following the cessation of war in the Gaza Strip.
The movement specifically urged the mediators in a statement to complete their role in monitoring the implementation of the remaining provisions of the agreement, especially those related to providing the necessary amounts of aid, ensuring all essential needs for the citizens in the Gaza Strip, opening the Rafah crossing in both directions for citizens, and working to urgently initiate reconstruction, particularly for citizens' homes and the infrastructure including hospitals, schools, and service institutions, or for those participating in boycott campaigns and popular events.
Hamas emphasized the necessity to immediately begin the formation of the Community Support Committee from a group of independents who were nationally agreed upon to start their work in managing the Gaza Strip, and to complete the withdrawal of occupation forces from the agreed-upon sites.
It also called for the continuation of steps and procedures to punish the criminals and war perpetrators by putting them on trial and bringing them to justice for what they have done against our people and against humanity as a whole, and to proceed with the complete boycott in all its forms, and to continue isolating the occupation and its leaders, according to the text of its statement.
