Ongoing Israeli Violations in Gaza and Hamas Affirms Its Commitment to Ceasefire

SadaNews - Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip continue, resulting in more martyrs and injuries.

It was announced last night that the toll from yesterday's attacks, Thursday, reached 7 martyrs as a result of Israeli strikes on civilians in the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces fired heavy machine guns and artillery shells early Friday towards civilians in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Drone aircraft targeted the homes of civilians in the Al-Sahaba area of the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City.

In this context, Hamas affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and its dedication to applying it, as well as its intention to hand over all remaining bodies. It accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of procrastination and failing to fulfill his obligations, as well as obstructing the resistance's efforts and humanitarian efforts to reach the remaining bodies.

It indicated that the return of the bodies of Israeli captives may take some time, as some of these bodies were buried in tunnels destroyed by the occupation, while others are still under the rubble of buildings that were bombed and demolished. It stated.

It added: The Nazi occupation army that killed these captives is the same one that caused their burial under the rubble, according to its statement.

It continued: The bodies of Israeli captives that the resistance managed to access were handed over directly, while the extraction of the remaining bodies requires equipment and devices to lift the rubble, which are currently unavailable due to the occupation's ban on their entry.

It considered that any delay in delivering the bodies is fully borne by Netanyahu's government, which hinders and prevents the provision of the necessary resources for that.
