Euro-Mediterranean Observatory: The Risk of Famine Has Not Left Gaza Strip
SadaNews - The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory stated that the risk of famine has not left the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing reduction of aid, which reflects Israel's insistence on using starvation as a tool of genocide.
The observatory clarified in a statement that the limited quantities of goods and aid that have been allowed into the strip represent only a tiny fraction of the actual needs.
It added: "We are extremely concerned about the Israeli threat to reduce humanitarian aid and the failure to open the Rafah crossing under the pretext of not releasing the bodies of Israeli casualties."
It pointed out that Israel allowed the entry of only 173 aid trucks over the course of two days following the ceasefire last Friday.
