Occupation Turns Homes in the West Bank into Military Barracks

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and incursions in various cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, which included assaults on citizens' properties and the conversion of homes into military barracks.

 

In Hebron, in the south of the West Bank, occupation forces raided the towns of Idhna and Al-Kum west of the city, converting two homes into military barracks after evicting their residents.

The forces fired tear gas canisters at the entrances of the towns, causing a disruption to school attendance.

The occupation army also continued its incursions into the Al-Ras cemetery area south of the city for the eighth consecutive day, amidst a partial curfew and disruption to the movement of residents.

Additionally, occupation forces raided the Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem, firing live ammunition and tear gas at the youth before withdrawing from the camp later in the morning.

In Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, occupation forces raided the Old and New Askar refugee camps and the vicinity of Balata camp east of the city. Their military vehicles roamed the streets of the eastern area with no reports of injuries or arrests.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, occupation forces raided several villages and neighborhoods, including Deir Abzi'a, Ain Arik, and Nil'in west of the city, subjecting a number of citizens to field investigations.

Settlers also set fire to a vehicle during an attack on the town of Beitin east of Ramallah, and assaulted homes and properties of Palestinians in the area.

In Al-Bireh, occupation vehicles invaded the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood, raiding several homes and ransacking their contents.

In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, occupation forces raided the city of Tubas and the nearby town of Tammun, deploying infantry units in residential neighborhoods, raiding several homes simultaneously with an incursion into Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley by groups of settlers.
