SadaNews - The Public Prosecution confirmed that the investigations related to both the case of the Minister of Transport and Communications and the case of the General Administration of Crossings and Borders are still ongoing under the direct supervision of the Attorney General. The Public Prosecution has commenced work on both cases since their individual registration dates, fully adhering to the legal frameworks and judicial procedures in place.
The prosecution stated in a statement that the Corruption Crimes Prosecution is diligently and transparently following up on these files, with complete commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of the proceedings and ensuring the rights of all parties involved. This necessitates withholding any details at this stage, in order to preserve the integrity of the investigations and the course of justice.
The Public Prosecution also emphasized that it will complete all necessary legal procedures against anyone proven to have committed any criminal acts constituting corruption and take the relevant legal measures against them.
It affirmed that combating corruption and pursuing any financial or administrative misconduct represents the core of its mission to protect public funds and uphold the rule of law.
