Newspaper: America Deports 100 Iranians After Agreement with Tehran
SadaNews - The New York Times reported on Tuesday that the U.S. administration deported about 100 Iranians on a plane from the United States to their country.
The newspaper quoted this information from two Iranian officials who participated in the negotiations and an American official familiar with the matter.
The two Iranian officials stated that a chartered American plane took off from Louisiana on Monday and is scheduled to arrive in Iran via Qatar on Tuesday.
The newspaper noted that the identities of the Iranians and the reasons for their attempted immigration to the United States were not immediately clear.
