The Occupation Commits a Massacre Against Displaced Persons in Gaza

SadaNews - The occupation forces committed a massacre early this Wednesday against displaced persons, and executed new demolition operations on buildings in the city of Gaza, which is subjected to intense bombing and ground incursions as part of a plan aimed at its destruction and the displacement of its residents.

A source at the Baptist hospital reported the martyrdom of 17 people, including children, in the airstrike that targeted a building housing displaced persons near the Firas market in Gaza City.

Local sources stated that the death toll from the airstrike reached 20 martyrs and a number of injuries.

Medical sources reported 29 people martyred in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since early today, including 24 in Gaza City.

In addition to the victims of the massacre around the Firas market, 5 people were martyred early today due to an airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.

Another airstrike targeting a house on Al-Sahaba Street resulted in the martyrdom of two.

Furthermore, a woman was martyred and several others injured due to similar shelling around Al-Yarmouk market.

Several neighborhoods in Gaza City, particularly in the west and south, were subjected to a series of airstrikes early today and last night.

Palestinian sources reported that occupation forces launched flares over areas in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of the city and the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood located in the southwestern part.

In conjunction with the airstrikes and artillery shelling, Israeli occupation forces executed demolitions of homes using vehicles loaded with explosives in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and Al-Jalaa Street in northern Gaza City.

The occupation army began a ground assault on Gaza City a week ago, with its tanks advancing into several neighborhoods, including Sheikh Radwan and Tal al-Hawa, as part of what is called the "Gideon's Chariots 2" operation.
