After the closure.. Official announcement of the resumption of work at the "Al-Karama Crossing"
SadaNews - The Palestinian General Administration of Crossings and Borders announced the resumption of work at the Al-Karama Crossing today, Sunday, September 21, 2025, with operations expected to continue until 1:30 PM.
The administration stated, "If there are any changes to the working hours of the crossing, an announcement will be made."
The Al-Karama Crossing and the King Hussein Bridge from the Jordanian side are witnessing an unprecedented traffic crisis, impeding the movement of Palestinians wishing to travel or return home, amidst a state of security tension and tightened measures.
This crisis comes in the wake of the complete closure imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the Allenby Bridge (the Israeli bridge) last Friday, in addition to the suspension of travel during working hours on Thursday, following a shooting incident at the crossing that resulted in the deaths of two Israeli soldiers and serious injuries to others.
