Presidency: The war in Gaza is a serious escalation and we demand the US administration to bear its responsibilities
SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudainah, stated that the wide-ranging aggression by Israeli occupation forces on the city of Gaza constitutes a dangerous escalation threatening the lives of millions of our Palestinian people and will deepen the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe.
Abu Rudainah warned of the seriousness of Israeli statements calling for the destruction and reoccupation of Gaza, describing them as new war crimes added to the criminal record of the occupation.
He added, we hold the occupation government responsible for this serious escalation which forces thousands of citizens to flee from areas they had originally displaced to, in a move aimed at their further displacement, which we have rejected and warned against repeatedly, and which the entire world has also rejected as it constitutes a war crime against humanity, and will lead to increased tension and instability that the region suffers from due to these condemned and rejected Israeli policies.
The official spokesperson of the presidency continued, we demand the US administration to bear its responsibilities and not encourage the occupation to continue its comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people, and to compel it to immediately halt this bloody war in which more than 200,000 citizens have fallen between martyrs and injured, and to comply with international resolutions calling for a ceasefire, the introduction of humanitarian aid, and the immediate withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
