Hamas: Assassination Attempt on Negotiation Delegation is a Strike Against the Entire Negotiation Process
SadaNews - The Hamas movement considered this Thursday evening the assassination attempt on its negotiating delegation as a strike against the entire negotiation process and the role of mediators in Qatar and Egypt.
Fawzi Barhoum, the spokesperson for Hamas, said in a press conference from the Qatari capital Doha, "This crime is a blatant confirmation from Netanyahu and his gang of their rejection to reach any agreement and their insistence on thwarting all efforts to stop the massacre," according to him.
He emphasized that the U.S. administration is a full partner in the crime of the assassination attempt.
He pointed out that the Israeli bombardment targeted the home of leader Khalil al-Hayya, resulting in the martyrdom of his son and injuries to his wife and children, as well as injuries to Hayya's wife.
He confirmed that Hamas's and the Palestinian factions' demands regarding any deal remain in place, including the cessation of aggression, complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the implementation of a genuine prisoner exchange, humanitarian aid for our people, and reconstruction, as he stated.
