450 Children, Including Two Girls, Detained in Israeli Occupation Prisons

SadaNews: The Office of Prisoners Media and the Prisoners' Club confirmed the detention of 450 children, including two girls, in Ofer, Megiddo, and Damon prisons, amidst documented assaults and violations on a daily basis.

The office stated, "Since 1967, the occupation has detained more than 50,000 children."

It added, "In 2023 alone, 1,085 children were detained, most of them from Jerusalem, leading to laws that allow for the trial of children under 14 years old."
