Occupation besieges 70,000 citizens by continuing its aggression on towns and villages northwest of Jerusalem

SadaNews - The occupation forces continue, for the second consecutive day, their military aggression and siege on towns and villages northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces continue to storm the town of Bedou, closing its main entrance (the tunnel) that connects to the town of Al-Jib, which has disrupted the movement of citizens and prevented them from entering or leaving. It is worth noting that this is the only main road for nearly 70,000 citizens in the area. They also fired live ammunition and sound bombs during their incursion into the town amid clashes, and intensively released toxic gas and tear gas towards the hundreds of citizens trapped at the entrance to the tunnel.

The occupation forces had stormed several towns in northwest Jerusalem, executing raids and arrests accompanied by heavy release of tear gas. They stormed the town of Qatna and arrested a number of young men after raiding a residential building, while tear gas was released heavily, preventing ambulance vehicles from reaching one of the houses.

These forces raided several houses in the town of Al-Qubeiba and searched them, turning one of them into a military barracks.

On Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces had closed all entrances to occupied Jerusalem and the surrounding villages and towns, following a shooting incident that resulted in the killing and injury of a number of Israelis.
